  1. Very excited you are heading down under again. Time to get another pair of RMs? Spring has sprung and it is glorious

    1. I guess I am rather predictable, but yes, it’s about time for a new pair. There’s only so much the shoe polisher can do. I just can’t seem to stay away from Australia.

  2. Too bad your luck of emtpy/not crowded lounges ran out on this segment.

For a flight of this length, I guess the fee to book a bulkhead seat was worth it.

Also kudos to them for offering hot snacks on flights like this beyond the ramen.

    1. I figured my luck would run out eventually… But yes, I think it’s definitely worth paying for that bulkhead seat. You have so much extra space to move around. And it makes getting in and out of the seat much easier when it’s in the bed position.

  3. AF on this route are interesting. CDG can be good, but it depends on the day, what lounge is designated and the pier being used. The food on board is usually great but I find the service to be less available mid flight than say on an Asian carrier. Good luck with the RMs. Get yours refurbished if needed, I’ve had my pairs for years,

    1. Well, you see there’s reason to my madness. I though I’d get a new pair, then it doesn’t matter how long it takes them to refit the old ones. Or something like that…

But seriously, I’m usually full of praise for Air France, so I kind of figure it’s safe to say that they were just having a bit of an off day. And the breakfast was nice, I’m just not such a big fan of flans.
