The Renaissance Hotel is one of two Marriott properties located at Warsaw airport. The other is the Courtyard, right next door.
Access to the Renaissance is on the depature level, right across the road from Terminal 2. The hotel has all the amenities you can expect from a large international chain, including conference rooms, a gym, a pool and a spa.
My room is on the sixth floor.

The first thing that strikes me, is just how bright and spacious the room is.

There are tea and coffee making facilities and a large, well-stocked minibar with moderate prices.

My room only has a walk-in shower, but no bath – which suits me just fine.

When I made the booking, my room was described as „high floor, runway & airport view“. While technically all of that is true, I still think it‘s slightly misleading because there are only limited views of the ramp and aircraft.

The hotel boasts a very good restaurant that serves a vast choice of international dishes and specialises in grilled meat. However, there are many other food options, including several vegetarian dishes. I have the vegetable cream soup to start, which very nice.

And the beef tenderloin, which is cooked to perfection. It is served on potato mash with truffle oil, baby vegetables, and spinach in a nice buttery sauce.

The staff at the Renaissance are great. They are courteous, speak excellent English and have clearly been properly trained.
The Renaissance is a great hotel, and I very much enjoyed my stay here.
